... Seen

I am only just getting around to watching Season 1 of 24. This is one of those shows that, when it came out I wanted to watch, but just could not find the time. It's like, if I cannot devote myself to a show, then I cannot just sit down and watch. I have GOT to start at the beginning. But, then again, this is no different than reading literature. Must start with the first of a series!

Hmm...this is where I am with Lost, House, ...I know there are others!

Anyway, 24 is wonderfully infectious. Sat down to watch Episode 1 (12:00 AM - 1:00 AM) and immediately moved onto Episode 2 (1:00 AM - 2:00 AM). So when most of us are enwrapped in a thin membrane of fantasy, Jack Bauer is just:
  • Losing his adventurous daughter to a couple of teenage "thugs";
  • Unwinding George Mason's secrets;
  • Sharing sexual tension with Nina Meyer;
  • Attempting (but failing) to save Walsh; and
  • Planning on how to save the life of the future (black) President of the United States.
NOTE: Order presented in the above list may not be truly representative of happenings.

All this was presented in November, 2001. How prescient! And brilliant!
